I've bled the radiators and still no joy. Tried a few plumbers and they're busy till at least the end of the week.. brrr. If anyone can recommend a plumber in the Huddersfield area or who can suggest anything else I can DIY, I would be most grateful, thanks.

I am ashamed to admit, it's not been serviced for several years! Might the overheating be due to a faulty thermocouple? If so, it shouldn't be too expensive no?

New info: The boiler seems not to turn on again (when adjusting with the thermostat) and just keeps whirring like before... until I press the reset button again. Any thoughts?? Thanks.
