thank you for your ideas however i need something with a lot more storage...i was thinking something floor to ceiling or at least with cabinets...not more than 30-40cm depth however because i worry that it will make the room uncomfortable.... something like these maybe? or something part...

the balcony is the one between the sofa and the fireplace... as for the dining table...we are three in the house daily but i doubt we use it more than once or twice a week... :-(
