thanks for the advice. What is there to fail on an auto air vent? surely it just releases air. should I not worry about the fact that there is water dripping from the pump?

Thanks for your response. Do you think I could use the Fernox leak sealer F4? I am not exactly sure how that stuff works, but it seems to be pretty good for small leaks. Thanks
