greetings
a very brief precis : i am planning to install a new plug socket to run the cooker extraction fan. this entails chiselling out a channel in some tiles (and maybe some of the wall) to run the cable between the existing double socket and the new plug socket, the length being about 1...
i did question the noise. his firm did work for my firm and i thought he was ok. it's the first boiler i've ever had (had it installed the day i moved into the flat). corgi bloke said it was ok, it just runs a bit noisy. haven't had any probs with it in 5 years until yesterday morn...
well i turned the hot water tap on just to see what happens exactly and after a bit of noise the fan (which was always noisy) burst into life and the boiler ignited.
so maybe it is going to be an intermittent problem to go along with the one that has developed in my car
i was having a shower this morning and the water went cold.
there is no ignition and the fan is not working either . the overheat cut off button has not popped up.
any ideas anyone?
thanks
