    Where's my Dial Tone?

Try it Paul, not a test just a quick check before you connect. I bet if you use it once you will do it again. 9083 is the correct tool for the job

    Phone line configuration help

Problem is that is not a NTE5 connection just a junction box, also the none conforming coloured cable may not be good for an IDC connector. But I would agree with you start again with the correct cable and boxes, you can be sure then it will work properly.

    Where's my Dial Tone?

Sorry to confuse you I was talking about individual pairs to check if you have a working line. If you have a six pair cable and one line you know is working (or may be working) in amongst them but don’t know the colour then this is easier than getting your meter out. I use to do this all the...

    Phone line configuration help

Strip the wires, twist them together and then use a block type connector and screw them down. With two different type of cables this is your best option. Not to the book but OK. If you still have problems looking at the state of the wiring there may be poor connections elsewhere

Not enough water pressure for MegaFlow?

Tony, You are quite right an Accumulator as anything has pros and cons. Another problem with them is the space they take up. It is a solution and if it’s just a shower in the morning he wants it may do the job. If his incoming mains is to small it may be less costly than replacing it. I have a...

Not enough water pressure for MegaFlow?

Search accumulator on this forum. I have one on a mains cylinder and find it works for me. Sorry I never read your post properly, You need to know your pressure first, an accumulator will give you plenty of flow but if the pressure is to low it won’t help.
