Numerous people on this forum have stated that condensing boilers do not last anywhere near 25 years, even the best ! There are a multitude of things that can go wrong with them, and when they get to a certain age, it is not cost-effective to have them repaired. Question answered ...

Can anyone answer my question ? Can I prolong the life of a condensing boiler by only switching it on in the winter months ?

Yes, I have the black anti-splash. When the water hits the bottom of the sink, it splashes out everywhere. Rather than a spray, I would rather the water be directed straight downwards (like a hose-pipe :D ). I was wondering if you could get another nozzle to solve this problem.

I just fitted a new sink and tap (Danube), both made by Franke. The only problem is that the tap seems to produce alot of splashing. I have a multi-point that supplies the hot water, so the pressure has to be a certain level. Is there any way around this and is there a special attachment that...

I need to replace a fence post that has been concreted-in. I'm hoping that I can remove it, by digging around the concrete. Assuming that I am able to do that, I'm wondering what would be the best way to fit a new one. Is it best to concrete-in directly, or to use one of those metal inserts ...
