Problems with Baxi 105e combi despite new expansion vessel

We have had this before and it drove us nuts. Howeber turned out to be the secondary heat exchanger at the top of the boiler which was leaking and water was going down the condense line so therefore no visible leaks.

3.15A Fuse blows on control board (Ravenheat RSF 820/20)

fan speed resistor shorting out to the casing is a common fault on this model. undo the fixing screws and remove it from the casing and then see if the fuse still blows. It is locateed at the back of the casing on the rhs about half way up .

Vaillant IMO: They are generally of a god build quality ..even now in the very competitive market. And their condensing boilers are fairly well tried and tested as there are quite anumber of the early Ecomax condensing models still around and working reliably. I know that that all...

    Ideal isar m30100 problems!

Check Pump first as previous. If the boiler opertes for a short while and the pressure increases not too quickly and the pump IS working then it might be an idea to isolate and drain the boiler and check the expansion vessel charge pressure. This will need to be done with the boiler drain...
