Not yet as I wasn't sure whether to run that or just earth to all the fittings as my plan was to save money by running it myself then leave tails at all the the fittings and consumer unit and paying an electritian to finish

There is no earth wires was going to run just earth between fitting but apparently I would be better running t&e?

Basically I wanted to run new t&e cable between the lights and switches as its old wiring so wasn't sure what to do with that particular pendant

Because none of the others are same

The conduit only goes to the ceiling then stops and the wires come out the top then run under floor boards

Turns out the sockets are fine but I'm unsure about the light switches as there is only 2 reds no earth same at the light pendants basically I wanted to change the switches to metal ones is this ok? Thanks

Sorry I meant (lighting) switches and outlets there is only 2 reds in each it's a 1970s ex council flat thanks

Hi I have 2 red wires at each (lighting) outlet in my house, so was wandering if it would be possible to run ground wires to each outlet and back to the consumer unit. Paying an electrian to connect them as I already have floorboards up etc.. Would that work? Thanks
