That’s exactly the problem I’m facing, I don’t think the two drain hoses would work, already caused a water to be ejected when I tested it first. I can fix the pipe up before going down but I needed some sort of new pipe or some other fitting that will allow both hoses to be safely connected...

Hello, I’ve got an issue with connecting two drain hoses, one from my washing machine and one from my new dishwasher. I’ve got an extended drain pipe but I’m struggling to fit both drain hoses in that pipe, do you have any advice of what fitting would be most appropriate? mere picture for clarity:
