Thanks guys. I thought that the power flush seemed like a bit of a gimmick. I'll try Worcester and also ask around for a recommended gorgi guy.

Would be very grateful for advice. I've got a Worcester 25si gas combi boiler. The high pitched whining noise definitely comes from the boiler itself rather than the pipes and comes on after the hot water or central heating or both have been on for a short while and continues for a short while...
