I am seeking to replace my external aluminium French doors.
Once the existing door and frame are removed, the opening dimensions will be:
- Height: 2050mm
- Width: 1300mm
I’ve had difficulty finding a company that offers composite French doors suitable for a narrow opening.

Is it the motor that goes faulty? I see the motors are easily available on amazon, seems simple install as replacing the valve will need the system to be drained.
It is a honeywell v4043h1056
I have two. Another which controls a pool heat exchange. On that one I can feel the spring load when I pull back on the little lever. On the CH valvle this little level has no resistance at all.
Hive is set to off, the controller next to the boiler is also not receiving any commands to tell the boiler to heat up the radiators.
Radiators are boiling hot. On the boiler the heating symbol is on permanent with the flame sign.

My original post detailed me having the service void within the space of the rafters. That was before understanding I would need a VCL under the rafters.
Would it be possible to allow for more slack in the VCL around the spotlight areas? This would prevent it from being disturbed during the installation of the spotlights. If I secure the VCL tightly against the rafters, I'll need to cut into it when installing the lights.

They did point out i need the VCL
.
So..
220 Rafters
50mm air gap (below the roof membrane)
- 120mm rigid board insulation
- 50mm gap/service void
- VCL over the rafters
-...
Are you referring to insulated plasterboard to address cold bridging?
I spoke with my building officer regarding this matter. Since the rafters are quite substantial at 220mm, he has agreed that if I increase the insulation in between the rafters from 100mm to 120mm, I can then install standard...
