Thanks Oilman for coming back so quickly. I suspected as much. I don't know of any secondhand rotors so will see if local spares supplier has a motor in stock. It looks like it just unbolts via 2 allen head bolts on flange. Is it as simple as that?

On further investigation I find the eroded keyed shaft on the oil pump is a removable plastic 'top hat' not metal as I thought (you all knew that already I'm sure) and I assume a replaceable 'weak link' of the motor assembly. That still leaves the eroded metal keyway bushing within the motor...
