The old threshold has been binned by all accounts, we had some plumbers in and they broke and binned it apparently!!!
I'll take your advise and look for a bit of hardwood.

Although there is a bag of kiln sand in the garage that the previous owners had left!!!!
We have a brick layed drive and I started to clean our drive with a power jet spray to take away stains on the bricks etc. unfortunately I have removed quite abit of dried cement around the bricks leaving gaps.

How do you fit lino in your bathroom???
Do you need any type of underlay, grippers etc?
We have quite a small bathroom but I not 100% sure of how to cut the lino to stay tight to around the toilet and sink?

That's correct the plumbing company are filling in the grills.
Is it best to let them carry on with this or should I get a Professional to do the job, as the two grills they have done certainly don't hole appear as though it was never there?

The furthest hot water draw off will be the kitchen. The place in the loft where I would like to put the boiler is below the kitchen more or less. (Loft -top floor, Landing second floor, directly underneath the landing is the kitchen).
