Gas Aga cookers have to be put on low burner rate between 30 mins to 90mins depending on which type of burner it is, anytime after this full rate can be turned up to, this will normally stop the gas lift.

Most of my custom is Aga / Rayburn appliances, the casting will last a life time, the burners parts on all fuels will need to be changed from time to time like most appliances but regular service is a must. Gas models will normally give you no trouble as like anything that has been installed...

I seem to remember that the last jaguar i worked on with similar problem was the gas valve not shutting down properly and allowing gas to pass when not calling for heat thus overheat stat constantly going off.

we would normally use b.v.e flue pipe from the cooker and then connect into K-Vent and apply all manufacturers instruction for the flue system.
