    motor overheating

    i have a boiler and central heating system which is 19yrs old.this morning the hot water,came on and made a lot of banging then a burning smell came from the big tank area up stairs,we pinpointed the smell to the (smc comet 2-130)which i think is a motor very hot after only 10 mins.many thanks...
