I've got an old Danesmoor 20 25 oil fired boiler with built-in programmer and room stat, the ch is a sealed system and HW is gravity fed. Can anyone shed some light on how to wire hive to it, do I need a single or dual channel hub. Thanks Steven

Thanks for the reply Stem I move the jumper over to pumped I could hear the pump inside the boiler going but the boiler wouldn't fire for the ch. So I reverted back to gravity. Dont know if I did something wrong. Regards Steven

Yeah I'd say its definitely gravity HW as no pump runs when on hot water only. Regards Steven

Hi Stem I did as you said and set the programmer to on 24/7 Central heating, Is there a way to stop the hot water firing up the boiler outside of the programmed times for the central heating.

ianmcd thanks for the reply the boiler has a built in programmer for the HW and CH.

Hi Stem another question if I wanted to upgrade to hive in the future would that be possible, I understand I'd probably need a dual channel controller as I have a hot water tank upstairs.
