Yeah I know, was just meaning if a boiler had to be swapped if unable to be repaired. I know the older ones especially are so heavy when removed.
I have used a FGA before, a TPI one. I have heard Anton/Kane are the best ones?

Yep those are the 3 I saw on their website. I would likemto attend all 3 of them, I think you have to do them in that order anyway.
I'd like to get my hands on a few old boilers (as suggested in a post I searched) so I can take them apart, get to study the parts, get the feel of them, etc...
I didn't do any course through a job centre. I paid my own fees out of my own money mate. I already had a bit of gas knowledge/experience so it was just adding to that.

Sorry, I am gas qualified: CCN1, CEN1, CKR1, HTR1, WAT1 and CPA1 and have had a portfoli. I did some work with some gas safe plumbers, mainly CP12's, Servive's and installs about 18 months back.
