    No, I don't accept that an employer should have no involvement. Pension boards usually IME include representation from the employer as well as the employees.

    Yes, of course - that's why manufacturers join them. Possibly, but we don't hear a lot of statistics to show that the existing percentage is inadequate do we? Seemed like that to me, although I was surprised, given your views expressed in other threads.
