Advice needed please..... I'm opening up a doorway from kitchen into a large pantry in a 1960's property. New opening will be approx 1600mm. The wall is single skinned and solid block. It doesn't bear the load of a wall above but does bear the 1st floor joists. The lintel will span 3 joists...
