    Baxi Duo-tec problems

when the boiler is cold, make a note where the pressure gauge is reading, leave a few hours or overnight, if pressure rises and you havnt had central heating on then the plate water exchanger is "passing" and you will need a new one, not an expensive repair.

Potterton Heatmax combi 28 HE strange DHW issue

it could possibly be the water flow turbine scaled up, a quick check is to turn hot water on and look at the red light on top of the sensor, if it is not a solid red but but you can see it flashing then its scaled up and needs changing.

Worcester Bosch making very loud noise

yes, it would cause intermittent fault as the water builds up over a period of time causing ignition-combustion fault, likely problem is blockage in condesate outlet pipe to drain.

Worcester Bosch making very loud noise

with out actually standing in front of the boiler and hearing it, my first thought would be to check the condesate trap and outlet pipe for blockage as a gurgling noise would point to this

    Video: Promax SL issue

the flow switch situated at the top right side are notorious for sticking causing this very fault. link it out and then try it.

    baxi main ecocombi 28

original fault was the combustion unit(burner, fan, pcb and gasvalve!)hugely expensive, after completion the tenant then mentioned no hot water for last 6weeks! replaced flow sensor-basically a thin micro card,no difference. my problem is the domestic water cartridge which is special order, seems...

Noise From Boiler - Opinions Please

you remove the fan, insert finger to back left side and press down on plate, it should flex a little bit but if it moves its faulty, also happens on icos and isar models, though not as often. seen a couple like this after a technical help video was shown at work.

Noise From Boiler - Opinions Please

these boilers can have an issue with the burner coming away internally at the rear from faulty welds which cause droning noise/remove and press gently on the plate and if it moves then its faulty.

DHW IS VERY POOR UNLESS CENTRAL HEATING IS SELECTED, I SUSPECT THE DIVERTER VALVE IS PASSING AS THE FLOW IS GETTING HOT. DO I NEED TO REPLACE THE WHOLE VALVE OR IS THERE A QUICKER (CHEAPER) SOLUTION. MANY THANKS RAY
