thanks sleepyhead - i had a feeling that may be the case - do you know how I can fix this ?

I have a 2yr old integrated hotpoint dishwasher. the door wont close properly - its not clicking into place. when it was in warranty this happened and the hotpoint chap came and fixed it in seconds saying - this happens a lot - any ideas how i can do this without calling someone out ?
