These doors are from the 50's so the chances of any seepage are not that great, do I still need to apply the primer?
I was kinda hoping I could apply something that allowed me to paint straight onto the varnished wood, I'd like to do as quick a job as possible.....

My old front doors, which are internal are oak and have a slight varnish to them, I think this was probably some kind of wax or finish, I want to paint these with a Matt Cream wood paint.
What is the best way to approach this to get a good result?

But the PRV valve was changed about 4 months ago, surely it can't already be faulty?
I wouldn't have the confidence or knowledge to do anything you mentioned so looks like I'll be calling out a plumber!

I have an Ariston Clas HE 30 Combi boiler that is around 5 years old and it is losing pressure daily, I top it up to around 2 and overnight it drops to around 0.5 and if you leave it will eventually drop to 0 and boiler will error.
The reason for this is because water is escaping...
