Thank you all. The original hive system was just left off and I didn't think of asking until I saw it a few days later (I just assumed it had been done). I'll contact the fitter and get them to advise/fit it.

Help please - We've just replaced our old boiler/water tank system, it also had a smart hive attached. We have now changed it to a combi (Ideal Logic ESP1). Can I connect the same hive hub/thermostat or do I need to buy a new one without the water section? Any advice appreciated, thanks.
