I tested from live to neutral 240v Then switch wire to neutral 12v This was tested with the light disconnected With two pole tester, thanks for reply Edit: just realised it didn't read 12v on digital display but 12v led lit up, does this mean 12 or less? So may not be exactly 12v?

Hi all I have a fluorescent strip light in my utility room which recently just stopped working. I replaced bulb and starter thinking it would be one or other but no luck. I tested the live at 240v so power is there but for some reason the switch wire is only at 12v and it's the same going into...
