Chris Thanks for help and prompt reply. is this just a straight cut double entry valve of a run new to either end with a trv in one? Anything to watch out for i.e. getting trv on the right pipe?

I want to change a radiator on a microbore system, can I use any radiator or do I need to do something with it, to take the single connection. Obvisouly I will need to stop one end, but when I looked at the current rad, connection there is a small plastic pipe disapearing into it. Any help...
