for anyone else with this prob,,,,just had the engineer out and the fan at the top was jammed, quick spray with wd40 and hey presto bioler fired into life scottie

it is only lit when its on, if the heating was of when you turned the thermostat up it used to light up, now when you turn the thermostat up you can hear the boiler clicking but no flame appears scottie p.s its bl**dy freezin, just spent over an hour outside trying to get the transit to...

thought it was getting rather cold tonight and when i touched the rad it was cold,,,,,went and checked the rest ,all cold, checked the thermostat on the wall up full, checked the boiler no flame,nothing, when i turn the thermostat up and down you can here the boiler click on and off but its not...
