Thanks for your reply, although apart from stating the obvious it wasn't much use!
Anyway, I think I have sorted the problem. After taking the boiler covers off the DHW started working working. I can only think that a stray cable was obstructing the microswitch hence no hot water.
I have finally got around to purchasing a CMT927 and have today connected this up to the boiler with connections A & B in the relay receiver (BDR91) to connections 1 & 2 within the boiler with the link cable being replaced.
This works and the stat turns the boiler on and off as required...
Just to point that that I have resolved the problem. This was caused by a melted venturi. I hope that this was caused by a fault on the original PCB (that was reporting flame failure) rather than the replacement!
Hi,
I'm looking at purchasing a thermostat for my Performa 24 and have come across the CM921 / CM927 controls by Honeywell which seem to get a good writeup.
From what I have read, this would be suited to the boiler however there is a section the the manual that states "NOTE: If the room...
Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
I have since checked the airflow switch, testing with a meter shows that the switch goes between the terminals. I have also replaced the overheat stat as this was thought to be faulty, but appears not to be the case.
Thanks

This fixed the problem for a short while, but I found that the controls for...
