    Lever....All off...lever in center(ish)...CH thermo on and lever moves left to man position. System.....CW feed- cylinder- Lower pipe to boiler(tee to attic with one-way valve over header tank)- pump- 3 way valve- one to middle of cylinder.....one to CH. The circuit to and from the boiler...

    When I switch on the pump the hot water goes down to the boiler, through the valve. Then I switch the CH thermostat up. the lever moves and the third pipe (CH) gets the hot water. I guess that means it is working. :?: PS. It is a Honeywell.

    The spindle seems to move to the same arc as the lever. Tried a spanner but apart from that limited movement didn't dare force it too far. :)

    Crossed lines. Yes, it turns that small distance by hand. It's only about 1/8 of a turn :?:

    Yes. :) When I switch on the lever moves from the center(ish) to the spot about 5mm from the left(manual position). Sorry, went to bed at 11.30. :roll: Regards.

    Just been playing with the lever. It is on the left, by the retaining slot. It is about 5mm from the end. If I push it to the end it obviously engages the valve and returns that 5mm under the pressure of the valve. I have removed the oblong shaped cover revealing the electrical connections...

    The lever moves freely, I can remember the action when it moves the valve and it isn't doing that!

    Sorry Kev, I'm lost :oops: However there is a "three way" valve with a small sliding lever next to the cylinder.
