Thanks for the quick response. Would it actually make a difference to performance of the drill?

I have a Makita drill that came with a 12.v 1.3Ah battery. My question is... can i change the battery for a 2.6ah or higher even? Would this make a difference anyway or could it even damage my drill? Sorry for my ignorance and thanks in advance for your help. Terry
