P Possibly lights. The fireplaces in the house have all been removed blocked up, but these were on the other side of the room/house. I suppose someone could have put a gas fireplace in but this would have made sense on the other wall where the fireplaces were! I suppose if the wires work and...

I just opened it up to see if there was one in there and it was empty and just opened the plug up! The plug to the left works! (Obviously) I'll grab a fuse from somewhere and see if I can test the electrics. Sorry for the silly questions on my part! I can change a like for like plug but...

The inside of the plug and the switch to the left. Looks like I can probably swap it for a single gang plug and see what happens?

Thanks all, I'll open it up tomorrow and take a pic and see what's going on inside. To to left of the switch about 40cm there's a two gang plug.

Hello I have this switch in my living room, no idea what it's for and I'm assuming the fuse has gone because the light doesn't come on. Anyway, I wanted to replace it out for a single plug socket for my TV. Can I just switch like I would replace a regular plug? Thank you!
