You are correct, using the keypad you can arm the system, but not using area/part keys. Excellent Thanks

Yep, I have update - managed to get email notifications working by using an @gmail email account, still can't remotely set alarms though :(

Ah OK, much appreciated for the clarification. I'm not sure I like the X BE sounders, they look too attractive/attention grabbing although they are cheaper, not sure what to do really.
