Help with cartridge in Bristan Pisa shower

From the picture, what part is the centre hole? Are you talking about where the screw goes in to hold the temp adjuster in place? If so, definitely not.

Help with cartridge in Bristan Pisa shower

seriously?..... wow. Side question: Apparently the pisa is 153mm..... I found this on ebay, would this be almost as simple as unbolting the old and screwing in a new? I am thinking if it is the cartridge this is only £19 more than a cart...

Help with cartridge in Bristan Pisa shower

Hmmm the O rings still look perfect, but never say never I guess. If I use 50/50 white vinegar and water, is 4 hours enough for a good descale? Or would you use stronger? I'll have to find somewhere local that stocks the seals, or hit ebay! Thankyou for your advice

    Replacing bathroom tap valve

There's a hex area where the crease is on the tap, like just above the spout. I believe that's what's meant with the other hex, not the area you're trying with!

Help with cartridge in Bristan Pisa shower

Good evening all, I have a Bristan Pisa shower that's been dripping from the handle for some time, so I've tried to be proactive and fix it myself. The cartridge it takes is a CART 06732COMPL, and so I thought it may be a seal as I found seal kit SK00400185. The cartridge only had 3 out of...

electric hob glass issue - Bosch

Good evening, Im currently staying with a friend in greece, and the glass plate on the hob has come loose so is floating rather than level with the cooker top. I see a few very small sticky pads that may have held it down but not sure if these are strong enough to hold it down? I guess the...

Excessive electricity consumption 3 Bed House.

You do realise you cannot steal energy.... and there are no energy thefts.... Whilst it is covered by the theft act, the actual offence is abstracting electricity, or more commonly, to dishonestly use or waste or diverts electricity. 8) Back on topic, I'm keen to hear the outcome also!

Wiring problem, please could someone advise?

30 mins and still on. I think I am going to switch it back and just accept it only comes on when the light is on, unless you can think of anything else obvious. I genuinely and sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart, I couldn't have even begun to have fixed this alone, and not...

Wiring problem, please could someone advise?

Nope, fan comes on with the light but then never switches off, and only the isolator can turn it off

Wiring problem, please could someone advise?

that is how I assume it is wired, I am only 95% sure. I cannot test the shave socket as I don't have anything to plug in, and I broke my multimeter! I can keep killing the power and removing cables out of com to confirm which is the link, which is live, and which is the shaver socket. I...

Wiring problem, please could someone advise?

I don't know without taking the top off, but I am sure it should have an overrun.... Ok, just the bedroom left now, that has a light switch for the room, and a light switch for the bathroom light and extractor. With both off, either will turn on and off. The fan doesn't overrun. If the...

Wiring problem, please could someone advise?

I cannot guarantee that, which is why I'm suggesting quitting whilst I'm ahead! It does have a separate isolator again if that helps? I actually have another ensuite with a fan and that overruns, so I can only assume the one that's not working on the top floor should overrun. Was I right...
