    Morphy Richards kettle leaking.....

Well, I thought I'd have one last go at it....partly beacuase I'm stubborn, but mostly because I was slightly enjoying how annoyed the missus was at having a dismantled kettle all over the kitchen table.... Removed a couple of pins that the button hinged on, that allowed me to lift away most of...

    Morphy Richards kettle leaking.....

Thanks all... The steam tube seemed very loose where it connected to the switch so I put a tiny zip tie around it, boiled it a couple of times, DRY! patted myself on the back, went to bed, got up to a puddle under kettle.....

    Morphy Richards kettle leaking.....

Bit of a strange one in that it doesn't leak all the time, and won't leak when you try and make it leak! Got hold if some little triangular bits to take the bottom off, but I'm none the wiser... Filled up and left sitting - no leak visible... Anyone come across this one before? Thanks!

Shifting a pallet of tiles from A to B...

I went and bought a pallet of tiles on ebay before figuring out how I was going to collect them.... I thought it would be simple to arrange a collection and delivery.... But... It seems the pallet delivery companies expect you to have your own lifting gear at both ends..... Anyone got any...

No water in boiler loop - how to fill?

Manned up and stopped every open pipe, filled ch system, bled boiler coil, reset boiler and off she went. Why do I find plumbing so bloody stressful!?

No water in boiler loop - how to fill?

So boiler loop is dry, but there doesn't appear to be a way of filling, unless radiator system needs to be full for boiler loop to be full, but then how has it worked fine for a year.... Baffling.

No water in boiler loop - how to fill?

I can't figure out how the water feeds into loop from cistern... There's two 15 mm pipes coming down, one goes to central heating system and the other to rayburn back boiler loop.... We havnt had central heating for a year or do, but boiler has heated hot water fine....

No water in boiler loop - how to fill?

Thanks for reply. Unfortunately I can't check if boiler runs heating as the system is central heating is currently not complete... Got multiple radiators off and incomplete pipe work.... Yes, f&e tank is half full.....
