HDMI splitter won't really do the trick you will need a 4x4 matrix or use the dvb modular. Or better yet just use Android smart box like a fire stick or TV and download tinycam pro app

The subscription is for the cloud storage. I think it saves all rings, motion alerts for 6 months. £30 for the year is perfectly acceptable imo. You can still use it without the subscription but if you missed the door bell you have no video to go check. Just alert in app. No local record options.

I can vouch for ring.com have had my unit for almost a year however still loads of development on going. I have made request to access their APIs to try get the ring bell to trigger my amazon fire TV or other smart devices plugged into a TV.

Turns out I wasnt going crazy, spoke with texecom support and my panel is faulty. Keypad not working and ricochet not working either. Got a replacement panel coming tomorrow.

Following your instructions exctly as shown but the alarm panel doesnt change state. On videos on youtube and according to the manual the alarm should go off assuming the piezo buzzer if nothing else is paried. Will have a go tomorrow otherwise will try find a local tex. engineer.

Didn't work, no alarm sounds and entering 5678 tick then 1234 tick does not take it into engineers mode think will have to try with laptop.
