I have the answer. The gu5-3 lampholder has to be replaced by a new unit that comes complete with flying leads attached. But only £1.45 ea. So no real disaster. Hmm. TP

No. Its where the flex connects into the back of the ceramic (?) lampholder itself. Is it replaceable? Do i need a special tool? The lampholder is a GU5-3 TP

I have some low voltage lamps in my new property, and on checking a faulty one, discovered that the flex is not connected to the lampholder (mr16 type). However, there is no screw to attach the flex, and appears to be some sort of push-in required. Do i need a special tool for this...
