sounds like it would be better just to re-route it if possible, your builder should be able to advise you.

most baths come with a slight drop built into the lip so water runs back into the bath. the bath should be set level or your tiles will look a mess. give your mate a slap instead of a pint.......

can't see it being anything else, sounds obvious but just check the new valve hasnt got a stopper in the inlet, they sometimes put these in to stop dirt getting inside during transport ect.

you could just keep putting layers of the touch-up enamel on but it may take a while depending how deep the chip is. Andy

elaine, firstly the hot water and the central heating are seperate so you dont need to bleed the rads ect... secondly if you have hot water at the taps (at a decent pressure) there is nothing wrong with your boiler. a good bit of advice is that just because its new doesnt mean it works...

hi, my baxi's temp reading always rises to 60. when i open the hot tap half way the water is hot, when i open it fully it only gets warm but in both instances the temp reads 60 even if i set it to 40. i fiqured the sensor was broke so for a fiver it was easy and cheep to replace but it hasnt...
