    TBH as you have asked that question you most probably need at the very least help from someone who knows what they are doing - you could end up with a big pile of masonry on the ground - and seriously structural problems.

    Hi there, It looks like there is no lintol supporting the masonry above the window - this theory is borne out by the look of the fresh mother pointing the soldier course(brick on end) and locally above. TBH you could try and fit remedial trays but, I would advise a suitably qualified tradesman...

    I think this is a split spindle door lock referred to as a "Lever -Pad Set up you cant change the way it latches and locks without replacing the whole locking mech .     Hi there , just seen the thread and possible answers to why the water marking? looking at the age and state of the brickwork , Iwould look towards ingress through the wall at the mortar beds and perps- running down the cavity and either hitting a damaged/or indeed no cavity tray then collecting...

    There you go , took about 30 seconds to do . A touch of silicone on the face before offering up the joint and wipe off any excess with a gorilla wipe or pvc solvent cleaner. Any thing else i would be happy to help!

    The vertical crack where the bay meets the wall is indicative of settlement of the bay in to the pvc cill -where no significant structural support is in place . There may be a bay pole/post but TBH I would wager it is not bearing onto the masonry below the pvc cill and has no spreader plate at...

    Ok , its called a scribe which is a mitre with the guts cut out with preferably a coping saw , i would suggest looking on you-tube its the most elementary of joints to achieve
