Boiler kettling, is it the heating pump?

All water from the radiators & pump was crystal clear, just checked in the loft and the F&E tank has a bit of slime on the bottom but is clear inhibitor was added on first fill in February, does it need regular topping up?

Boiler kettling, is it the heating pump?

Hi all! I had a new Viessmann boiler installed in February this year, they preformed a full power flush etc according to the manufacturers instillation specification and the I staller was manufacturer approved. We've recently been using the boiler and it's making a whiring noise (kind of...

How to bleed un-coprative central heating pump

Yes, all the radiators are hot, it just sounds like there is constantly air trapped in the pump, I'm just worried it could cause damage to the pump as it didn't sound like that prior to the flush.

How to bleed un-coprative central heating pump

I've just turned everything off, waited for the pump to turn off, I moved the MPV to manual and bled the pump, a little water tricked out. When I turned it back on its sounded great but after around 30 seconds it came back with the trapped air sound. I'm guessing there might be off-gassing in...

The one in the rear is attached to the hot water shower pump, the one closest gave off a little gas when I bled it just now.

How to bleed un-coprative central heating pump

Sorry, yeah I have 1 zone valve fitted. Would it not bleed due to the valve holding a small vaccume on the pump? Edit: the lever on the valve is very floppy and doesn't appear to be doing anything.

How to bleed un-coprative central heating pump

Thanks for the response! I have tried on and off, I did find turning the pump on to agitate the air and then off and bleed, on, off bleed etc help remove most of the air but I'm concerned the little air left could arise internal damage, plus it's a really annoying sound!

How to bleed un-coprative central heating pump

Hi all, I have a gravity fed system, I have removed a few radiators in the house to flush the sludge out as there were cold spots on them. I also did a full system flush with cleaner and with a preventer from Screwfix. The only thing now is trying to bleed the central heating pump. It is a...
