Thanks to all who replied but really what could be done about the Gas Safe Certificate, surely it’s not worth the paper it’s written on if the details are incorrect. Had a smaller boiler (36cdi) been fitted it may not be so bad heat wise?

Engineer assessor coming tomorrow to quote for mains gas pipe to the boiler. They obviously can’t redress the wrong information on the certificate as they didn’t do the original job. Also will quote for a 2 pipe system to be fitted.

Thanks dilalio,both radiators heated up this morning. We usually leave the radiators on full on the TRV’s to keep them open but it won’t hurt to give them all a go.

No it's wired directly in to the fuse box! No the voltage hasn't been checked by anyone.

Thanks for replying, no the clock isn't working, nothing is. The electric is supplied to it. I am surprised it isn't on its own rcd on the consumer unit. We have only been in the house a short while and had not noticed this.

Does anyone on here know anything about Therometc roofing? I want to replace my polycarbonate roof so the conservatory can be used all year round. I have considered a tiled roof but thought the Thermotec may be cheaper but is it as good?! Any advice would be welcome please.

Apparently the alarm started to sound at 2 a.m. and wouldn't stop. It had to be knocked off the wall! Their friend who is an electrician came early doors and did it. He said it was the transformer. Thanks for your help.

After a power cut my daughters alarm doesn't work. I have changed the battery and checked the fuses which appear to be ok. There is now a light on the keypad where it says "day" but still no power light. Any ideas please.
