Decking joists are raised off the ground by pavers, and screwed to the concrete with L brackets. Decking joists are 300mm apart, so summerhouse bearers would run across these joists.

Hi, a long time ago but did you put your summerhouse on the decking? I'm looking at doing the same and wondered if it held ok,and did you raise the summerhouse off the decking with bearers?

The joists are rested on pavers, and I have secured the framework into the concrete below the pavers

There is decking frame work with dpc on top of these joists, then the decking on top. So I would then put slithers of dpc on top of the decking under the bearers (these won't overhanging or anything to prevent any pooling), then summerhouse on top

Totally get decking board are for light traffic, but framework below decking is sound and strong. The summerhouse would be raised off the decking to create air flow, and the bearers will be screwed through the decking into the joists below, so the decking boards wont be used for support as such...
