    GU10s and a dimmer switch

    I have 6x50w GU10 halogen lamps (total of 300w) and was looking for a dimmer switch to use with them. I was looking in B&Q and their dimmer switches have a sticker on them saying that they're rated to 400w but only 250w if used with GU10 halogen lamps. I haven't seen this differentiation made...
