    Which Boiler

Thanks to all of you for your comments, I hope non of you have fallen-out over it. I think snes has a valid point, that would be far easier for the likes of us seekers to go to one central point for the info we need. Out of the 6 quotes I've had, 2 go with Idael,2 Worcester not one mention...

    Which Boiler

I have had 3 quotes all within the same same price range but for 3 different condensing boilers. Having read reviews on other web sites, its time to ask the experts. The 3 are: Ideal 26, Baxi 80 HE. Worcester Greenstar 25. Any help greatly accepted.

    New Combi ----Reommendations

Thanks guys for all your replies, its very interesting, comical and at times helpful reading them. One last question if I may?? Ive just done the 'leymans' way of calculating the advised Btu rateings per room(cubic ft x 5, 4 or 3 plus % addition or - ) and for a livingroom 16 x 11...

    New Combi ----Reommendations

i'm replacing my boiler, present one is some 15yrs old has packed in so time for a new one. When I start to arrange quotes, some I feel are going to be more bias towards their own profit margin and giving me a system which is too good. My current model is rated at 24kw and is I believe...

Combi Boiler- Reduction in hot water pressure.

This morning having turned the b/room hw tap on, there came a 'sort of bang' from the boiler followed by black deposits from the tap and the water was running at normal pressure but, no hot water at all. On checking the boiler I found that the 'Demand' light was not lit when the hw tap was...

Combi Boiler- Reduction in hot water pressure.

Thanks for that,EliteHeat. Iv'e tried it again before reading your reply and the only extra things I can add is that I had about a minute of water before the pressure fell and when it did fall, there was like a weezing sound cominig from the depths. Does this change your view? and whay ££££...

    Combi pressure increase

    C/Heating Pressure Guage-Low Reading

I have a Worcester 9.24 Electronic Combi and have recently changed the filling valve on the filling loop due to it leaking water into the system. My pressure reading has always been about 1bar but noticed that it had began to rise. At the point when it went over 3bar (safety valve rateing)my...
