    sorry namsag, you're right. :oops: took off the sight glass and lit with a matchbut it wont stay lit. instructions say hold down for 20 sec once lit. I've held for much longer but still goes out?

    not sure when it was last serviced. We only moved in last may and were told it was serviced regularly, but with no record who knows. I can't see any way of reoving the cover and lighting manually?
