I leave it off and alone for a few hours and it then starts OK again … until the next time

Every so often it fails to start and starts pulsing. It is not jammed, spins freely, no air locked in, spindles etc are clean … last try before I ditch it is changing the capacitor . Then again , maybe I’ll just get a new pump .

Hi, I need to change the capacitor on a grundfos alpha+ pump that looks like the one in the picture. Does anyone know how to open the flipping electronics carcass ? … I’ve been struggling for 2 hours now. There are 2 screws , and 2 cllips … so far so good … then when pulling the carcass...
