Standard on internet - Hold down the CTRL key (bottom left) using left hand, then tap the + button on the keyboard using right hand, once or several times. Text size should increase. To return to standard size or to decrease text size, use Ctrl together with the - key (minus key).

Why not undo the 3 screws and have a look. Most probably power cables. Can't be gas or water as that Tee isn't suitable.

Both new and old are 2 way switches. On the new switch, one wire into COM, common, and the other wire into 1 (1 Way), either way round as it does not matter on a 1 way switch. ('2' would be used on a 2 way circuit) All the best
