thanks for looking i cannot hear pump working while hot water only on. i am not sure about where pump is even. i have no knowledge of c/h

i have a thorn olympic,about 30 years old which has served us superbly.however about two weeks ago the upstairs rads started coming on when we had the system on hot water only, not the downstairs,just the upstairs . has anyone experienced this,and if so what might be a possible cause
