    Thanks Tony, I thought that was the temperature that they measured it at, i have probably got it wrong. :( The system runs on mains pressure and the flow when they measured it was supposedly fine from the hot tap

    BG have finally fitted a new heat exchanger as they allege they have fitted new system boards and thermisters. The lockouts are gone but the hot water is still excessive(over 22 degrees) I am not sure if I should get them to come out again as I have no idea what else they can do

    No steam from the taps just scalding hot if you run it for too long. I guess it might be scaled up but I have no way of telling. Would it be normal for a boiler to scale after only seven years?     I think the flow rate was 6-7 litres but I am not too sure I was told the flow rate was ok by British Gas. The area is a hard water area. The parts were changed by BG but I am not sure they were experienced with this boiler. I don't want to slag them off so I am trying to source the cure.

    I have been having this problem since turning the heating on last autumn. The boiler is 7 years old and I have replaced the thermisters and the modulator board but still no luck. Water temperature is 62 degrees. I get lockouts when the bath hot water is run but nowhere else and not immediately...
