well, ive done it again at weekend... got a new roller and a new tin of paint (same stuff) ...did it first thing Saturday.. let it dry, and a similar result !??? so set about it Sunday.. was going to spray it to try get it more consistant... So basicaly ended up diluting it a lot... Spray gun...

There is no way I've missed that lot.. it's half mat and half silk... it must be drying too quick... I'll get a pole and water it down so it don't go off as quick.. and wait till its colder and maybe raining to give it another go LOL... :)

okay, thanks for that. TBH I've got two bits of stud timber sat in there now but didn't know if the dot and dab stuff would be okay with it?.. so I'll give it a go... If I can't get the timber level.. is it okay to dot / dab onto that with the top layer of plaster board?... Thanks :)

Hi Guys' I wonder if you could comment on the following.. The builders cut a new doorway into my new extension going back a few months, however they had a few goes at getting the cut straight and in the right place in the inner skin to match up the the cut in the outer skin... I think the 50/50 was the problem. That and the fact I put a lot on until it was solid instead of a 'mist' coat. And the fact its cold and damp out. Just checked it now and its still cold to the touch but has gone off a lot. It now wont scrape off unless you try very hard. The plaster was bone...

delaminate!.. can it?... I've started with copper now so I'll do it throughout... but I did have to use two push fits on this in the stud wall (too close to electrics etc... ) hope those work ;)
