Thanks for your advice - i personally think it's going to have to be the sander / stain and wax job - dam short cuts never pay off!!!!! :?

dam that trying a patch first - that was all i could bloody hear in my sleep last night! I thought i would have to sand them all back again! - but i may give the darker varnish a go - any reccomendations please! we are all learning - some of us more than others though!!!!!!!! :cry:

I have used a Ronseal Medium Oak gloss varnish – they are now far too yellow and I wanted to know how to get them back to the vintage oak finish i wanted without having to re-sand etc.?? Many thanks in advance…
