    Fruit flies

You could try one of those chip shop style vinegar shaker bottles, with ordinary vinegar in. leave it out near the bin and it'll soon fill up with em. They seem to be drawn to it, can get in the lid but cant swim.

    automatic bypass baxi bahama

Sure thats what its called?, cant find that in my manual. If you mean the actuator, (grey box about 3x2x2" with a wire out of the top) that sits on the left hand side then possibly, but i'm sure a) it will have a model number on it, and b) someone here will know better than me.

Baxi Banama 100 Combi Boiler internal water noise problem

sounds too simple but have you checked the metalwork surrounding it? Mine used to vibrate on the side of the internal casing around the heat exchanger and sound something like a droan from a helicopter overhead. Finger pressure on the panel, something wedged against it is enough to shut it up.

    Baxi bahama not heating

Woooah...£300? nice idea but i think not. New boiler? hmm, i've read many a tale of woe relating to this one, but if this is the first part i've needed in 8 years, i'll take my chances that i got a "good" one. I take it a honeywell board wont directly replace a sit one then. While...

    Baxi bahama not heating

Well i'm fairly convinced the CH swith is working properly, and i've shorted it to try conning the boiler into life which didnt work, but nothing ventured etc i'll give it a go.

looks like the pcb then, everything except the thermistor seems to check out. Not sure why the CH flowswitch should operate on 5vdc when the DHW gets 19vdc but i guess thats irrelevant as they both work. Pressure switch? or does this come into effect after the pump and ignition and therefore...

It appears the dhw switch is behaving itself. (am i the only one never to have needed to replace one??) As for the thermistor, ive swapped the connections and there is no difference. However, the resistance measured is off the scale (2.3 Mohms) on a hot pipe. Hot because ive had the tap...

not yet, i'll do that now

    Baxi bahama not heating

well it doesnt fire, and it doesnt sulk, well not temporarily anyway. for hot water the dhw switch works just fine, and removing the actuator makes the ch switch work. Other than that, on CH demand nothing works, pump doesnt start and burner doesnt fire. So whatever it is that starts the...

    Baxi bahama not heating

right, i have 240v at both white wires and both roomstat terminals from this i assume the demand for heat is proved to exist, and the white continues to the pcb, which turns the pump on, so the flowswitch can tell the actuator to move and the ignition to fire. Or in my case it seems it...

white wire on cn3 (valve modulation) terminals 1+2 shows zero volts white wire on CN2 (roomstat input) terminal 1 shows 240v not sure which you mean by terminal 4 so ive checked them all for 240v to main neutral CN3 none CN2 term 1 white roomstat input 240v term 2 orange from neon...

    Baxi bahama not heating

ok, main neutral and white wire on CN3 (its a SIT board) shows 240V. DHW flow switch disconnected makes no difference. I havent tried the thermistors
